These nests are not just beautiful but highly functional, featuring a built-in hydration system to ensure the optimal living environment for your ants.

With 11mm holes, they are fully compatible with our existing nests, making them a versatile addition to your ant keeping setup.

The natural durability, elegant finish and water-resistant properties of Java Plum wood offer both practicality and aesthetic appeal, providing your ants with a safe and stylish home.

This nest comes with a syringe to fill up the water reservoir.

Cleaning advice:

Avoid washing the nest under running water. Keep clean, remove waste build up and mould-prone debris to maintain hygiene.

Best way to clean the nest is with a wet cloth, however you must dry it immediately, before screwing back the acrylic top.

 

Excess moisture inside the wooden nest may cause the build up of mould, or the wood to swell in the long term. So it is important to monitor the moisture build up within the nest and be mindful about how much water you add into the hydration of the nest.

    Excellent nest, my only gripe is there are 2 tiny chambers not connected to the rest of the chambers, top left and bottom left. Easily sorted though, compared to other wooden nests these are a very good deal. Beautiful wood too.
