Cleaning advice:

Avoid washing the nest under running water. Keep clean, remove waste build up and mould-prone debris to maintain hygiene.

Best way to clean the nest is with a wet cloth, however you must dry it immediately, before screwing back the acrylic top.

Excess moisture inside the wooden nest may cause the build up of mould, or the wood to swell in the long term. So it is important to monitor the moisture build up within the nest and be mindful about how much water you add to the nest set up, although this nest has no hydration, ants can self-regulate the humidity/moisture levels.
